Captain jack, flipside of the coin

1. A bunch of stock promoters lie in a positive direction about a stock posting "profits just around the corner!"

2. the promoters know that the company actually has no profits around the corner as they speak to the ceo

3. they get inside info from the scammy ceo "bad report showing no profits coming any day, you must pump up the price before release of report,"

4. an enterprise of a bunch of promoters using a bunch of names each plus the company IR and marketing team themselves. Ever notice most promoters, pump and dumpers all know each other and work together? they do that so they can hype a bud's job without having to have a disclaimer. You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours, without a disclaimer.

5. the ceo's freely offering and giving shares to these hypesters to lie to investors with the intention to defraud

I realize there is no lessor evil, if tony is in fact guilty of the charges, but who has caused actual harm? When the company and promoters lie, who gets burned? the small investor. When tony tells the truth about the scam, who gets burned? lying promoters and insiders holding restricted shares. Everyone else can sell and reduce their losses, short and make some money or hold and wait for the promoters to hype it back up again so they can unload on some other poor sucker. Ever notice that shorters talk about "letting the fishies bid it back up again, then going back for more?" People not only have a chance not to lose money but they can make money based on his reports. I still believe the only people who possibly lose money are the con men trying to con the small investor.
