Mindoro Resources Ltd - Appointments Mindoro Resources Ltd MIO Shares issued 13315000 1997-07-10 close $0.315 Thursday Jul 10 1997 Mr Tony Climie reports Dr Michael Grace has been appointed as a director. Dr Grace has his own consulting firm and has been a director or board member of numerous private and public businesses and foundations. Dr Grace has a particular interest, background and expertise in the area of ethics. The other directors elected at the company's AGM in June 1997 were Mr Tony Climie, president and CEO, Dr Gerhard Kirchner, Dr Roger Morton, and Mr Reid Toreson, all returning directors. Mr James Stewart, Mr William Bale and Mr John VanRiper have stepped down from the board. The ASE has confirmed the listing of 3,950,000 shares of the company which are reserved for issuance in connection with the acquisition of six mineral projects in the Philippines. The company may earn up to a 75% interest in these projects, under option arrangements provided in the memorandum of agreement with Minimax Mineral Exploration, as previously disclosed in Stockwatch March 11 1997.
