Hi Scottonstocks:

Despite my MBA and 12 professional years in finance before encountering Tony, you may put me in the category of If his posts on SI opened up anyone's eyes as to the inner-workings of wall street, that was only because the reader was either ignorant or naive

I was not familiar with the ugly world of penny stocks, and it took a while for my eyes to open to it's incredible sleeziness.

I would say there are many, many investors who are in the same camp, and Tony (or, if you wish, Amr) did open the eyes of more people than anyone else I have seen.

I am not insisting the guy is innocent of all charges. I am trying to find consensus here that we should not convict him in our own minds until he has had his fair day in court.

Thanks, Peter

By the way, I am concerned that your use of Tony's legal name, Amr, is intended to bring attention to the fact that he is of Egyptian birth - a foreigner - as if that should influence our opinion of him. Perhaps not, it is his legal name after all - he got into the habit of using Tony as it made him less of a target of prejudice in his youth.
