Anybody know when the annual meeting is re-scheduled for. I had never heard that the July meeting was cancelled.

Saw an article in the NY Times implying that J&J's HIV test was pulled due to product flaws and excessive FDA demmands. For instance it seems that the 2 competing test on the market where having many instances of the test strips & envelopes for Home Access being supplied to Confide customers & vice versa, which invalidated the test. The FDA didn't like that and was putting heavy presure on J&J.. J&J's official line is that the test was a poor seller. This probably allows them to save face but the article said those in the know said J&J succumbed to FDA pressure. Imagine if the mighty J&J was being kicked around by the FDA and baled, its no wonder Chemtrak wasn't getting anywhere. Maybe Ed Covell did the best thing in getting out of the HIV area to pursue other areas. It made a lot more sense to me after reading the Times article. Sorry I don't have a link to the story but that was the essence.
