What a traumatic story for anyone to tell. As a child, you must have been frightened beyond counseling. Did you ever wonder what gave you the courage to stand up to him, when everyone else was cowering? War does horrible things to people, and being a prisoner in sub-human conditions, only adds to the trauma... How old were you when this happened?
