I'm afraid not. Very frustrating. There's a smaller house a few blocks away priced nearly a $100,000 more than ours. It has river frontage, which to my way of thinking is a severe disadvantage because I've been down the river in my canoe and I can see that it is undercutting the banks. People pay extra for it, though.

The market for houses $100,000 less than ours is quite brisk, but those houses are so small it's hard to imagine why people want them so badly. Necessity, is my guess.
