Kathleen--Thanks for posting that article. Interesting marketing nuance:

Iomega's PR talks about using Iomega products to hold "stuff". Never much liked that line; stirs up image of an attic full of junk.

Syquest's release talks about customers using Syjet cartridges "to hold their ideas and creations."

Seems like a creative marketer could exploit this distinction further with some attack ads highlighting the Iomega recalls. 'Iomega's adequate for holding your "stuff", especially if it's expendable; but you need Syquest quality to protect your ideas and creations.'
