Before you rush off and cover your AMAT short...

not much likelihood of that for anything other than a few days, and that is not likely at least until warning season winds down. Even if Taiwan adds some more 300mm capacity, who else is going to? Certainly not INTC. and certainly none of the other semi mfgrs. Taiwan can't support AMAT alone. And I read the other day that Taiwan had put in a rush of orders so they were first in line, but they were likely to cancel them if demand didn't stay up. Well, I doubt demand is going to stay up. the inventory rebuild is over.
