WLAN is highly disruptive' that is an understatement, but the losers won't be PCS et al, they'll be the likes of QCOM. Sprint is an early investor in Boingo and Voicestream now owns Mobilestar (of starbux wifi infamy). According to the person I spoke to at Voicestream, they claim they will be turning on a "significant" wifi network in boston...by the end of the year. this year. seems a bit aggressive to me, but i won't complain if it happens!
