I am sure they are real and vulnerable- they just aren't that way for me. If they were, I'd have to worry about how my posts might affect all those people who I imagine but do not know. As it is that seems like too much work. I wouldn't intentionally hurt someone, at least not someone who didn't jab me with a stick first, but I am not going to worry about hurting people unintentionally while I entertain myself.

If I wanted to tread cautiously I think I'd join a ladies group, or become an officer of the PTA again. It is precisely because I do not feel I need to be cautious that I find SI entertaining. Cautious in the "watch what you say" sense, not in any other sense.

And that is interesting that you wanted it to stay hazy. I think I am with you on that (for the most part).
