Palestenians will agree to non-violence if Israel agrees to non-aggression. There's no evidence that pulling out of the territories would end Palestinian terrorism. Pulling out of Lebanon was supposed to end Hizbullah attacks and all that happened was that Hizbullah shifted the locus of the dispute and kept fighting. Arafat (when speaking in Arabic) and Hamas and Islamic Jihad (openly) say that Israeli withdrawal from the territories is only Phase I of the plan anyway; the whole plan is destroying the state of Israel. So why should anybody believe that unilateral Israeli withdrawal will bring peace? Because Arafat says so? LOL
