Ah, yes, the 50's. When White Men Ruled America, and minorities knew their place. Too bad they opened the schools to everyone; too bad civil rights legislature ended the ability to step on the black man's neck; too bad Martin Luther King Jr and others instilled a dream in millions that had been stamped out by years of your 'good times'.

You're naive to think that that era did not have its scandals and debauchery. The big difference is mass media and its insatiable desire to uncover everything. The slugs were there, they were just under the rocks.

Fact: the highest rate of teenage pregnacy in the last 50 years? That's right, the 1950's.
