I will have to respectively disagree with you on the quality of this article. In some ways, this article has been brutally honest in its evaluation on the futility of this conflict.

You may not like what this article has concluded of the Israeli war effort (this article was equally critical of the Palestinians). That is within your right to disagree. But it does not preclude from the notion this is an "ugly" war with no victors.
