Let's contrast our answers:

1) Where am I? Someplace where if I do not eat and drink, I will perish. I say, "this is the real world, there is no other", so we are saying the same thing.

2) How do I know it? That is a tough one, that I can not answer. I say, "Though the use of reason, not mysticism".
Most people say what you have said.

3) What should I do? Assume that if I do not eat and drink, I will perish I say, "Assuming that I do them no harm, treat others the way I would want to be treated."
