What I am saying on "1" (Metaphysics) is that this is the real world, and there is no other beyond it. So immortality is not possible. What I am saying on "2" (epistemology) is that we know this through the use of reason. What I am saying on "3"(ethics) is that the way to treat others, based on "1" and "2", is to not interfere with them. And to expect, in return, that they will not interfere with you. That is Western Civilization, based on Aristotle for "1" and "2". If you go to our Universities, they will spend most of their time on Plato and Kant, but our Civilization really runs on Aristotle, IMO.
