Here's my thinking right now. About 1-2 years ago everyone who was investing in the oil patch was moaning because the high oil prices weren't reflected in the price of the E&D oil companies. We on this board knew that the way to obtain the benefit of high oil prices was to buy the oil and gas trusts. Now we have a situation where the economy seems to be improving, but the improvement isn't being reflected in the market. Once again the answer would appear to be in the trusts - this time perhaps the income trusts as opposed to the oil and gas trusts. Their distributions WILL track the economy, just as the distributions from the oil and gas trusts tracked the price of energy.
