Re: Hollow Red Candle

Wouldn't a hollow black candle be more bullish than the red one? I would think it would be more bullish to finish higher than the previous day than to finish lower (guess this states the obvious).

Most of the tech on my shortlist showed a red candle on Friday: LLTC, KLAC, AMAT, CYMI, QLGC - similar to the $COMPQ pattern.

I've got a couple tech short positions that I re-established Friday late. I was paying attention to the prevailing wisdom that the markets still have room to fall (and will continue to do so early this week). Went back to the same wells that gushed for me last week. Looking at KLAC, it may not be a buy yet, but it seems a high risk short:

MRVL may not be the best short either:

With those charts, I am counting on the markets to continue to drag those stocks down.
