World Transport Authority, Inc. - U.S. Embassy Presents U.S. Technologies

EL CAJON, June 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - U. S. Ambassadors Tour presents U.S. Technologies in its Tenth Annual Tour. World Transport Authority, Inc. (OTC BB: WTAI; Frankfurt: 920943) (WTA) announced that the company participated in meetings in conjunction with the Tenth Annual U.S. Ambassadors Tour. The Ambassadors Tour is an annual event recognized as one of the longest and most effective demonstrations of the public-private partnership between the U.S. Government and American businesses. The Ambassadors Tour was organized by the US-ASEAN Business Council, which is the trusted voice of the American private sector in the ten-country, 500-million person ASEAN market. The purpose of the Council is to bring Southeast Asia and the United States closer together through business. Representatives of WTA attended the breakfast, sponsored by Qualcomm and the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce. The keynote speaker for this event was the Honorable Ralph L. "Skip" Boyce, U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia. Mr. Boyce highlighted the commercial opportunities in the South East Asian countries that participate in ASEAN, as well as the business climate in the individual countries, and the region as a whole.

Participation in this event resulted from the continued affiliation that WTA has developed with the U.S. Commercial Services Division of the Commerce Department. This tour included U.S. Ambassadors from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, as well as the U.S. Senior Commercial Officers from these countries. There were a limited number of meeting slots available with the representatives from the Embassy offices, and WTA was privileged to obtain one-on-one meetings with Officers from Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia and Vietnam. These meetings provided an extraordinary opportunity for WTA to further their discussions and increase the contacts supplied to them by the best trade experts that the U.S. government has to offer.

"Meetings with these U.S. Officers representing these ASEAN countries reinforces that working in conjunction with U.S. Commercial Services is the key to progressing our company to the next level," stated Lyle Wardrop, President of WTA. "They are working vigorously to search for potential licensees that fulfill the requirements of WTA to license and operate WorldStar production facilities in those countries," continued Mr. Wardrop. "The quality of business contacts provided by U.S. Commercial Services is stellar."
