Really Mr.Fant, aren't we being just a little naieve?
Mr.Kahn is there as a good corporate citizen, and as such he deals with whoever is in power. It was an elected government, by the way, and has a Christian Vice-President, and several Christian ministers. Not perfect, but a good start. But to your way of thinking, this is Faustus, in league with the devil, and not only that, that is why the stock is not going up. What a piece of work!
Just to set you straight, Mr.Kahn has no involvement in Sudanese politics, and the reason he is respected is because what he promises he delivers on.

I will also note, Mr.Carter is a staunch supporter of peace in the Sudan, as is the Pope. The Vatican regularly attends the annual Arab-Islamic conference along with Cristian representatives from within. They do not support a civil war, such as it is. I am not aware of any Vatican statement which would lend credence to your propaganda. Now, perhaps the Vatican is too close to the Government?
I guess I'm too close too. And I thought all I wanted was to get the bloody oil flowing, get a bit of reward for putting up my money, and maybe the long-suffering Sudanese people would get a better shot at a decent life. One of us is fooling themself.
