Let's see I loved the conceit of the Odyssey I loved comparing all the characters I adored the music I thought the historical touches were fabulous I thought the movie was beautifully shot some scenes were achingly beautiful the Lotus Eaters for example- absolutely mesmerizing the sirens- couldn't take my eyes off them The Cyclops- very interesting interpretation The transformation to the frog- instead of a pig- very cute- but no Circe (sigh) The blind oracle excellent Penelope/Penny- WONDERFUL!!! no Telemachus, but I can live with that the girls were wonderful I think it was a perfect movie. It was everything I want. Great music, intelligence, wit, great beauty, great acting- what more could I want?
