To all TAers...Based on the interest shown in my TAINJ presentation on "Advances in Weighted Stochastics",I have decided to begin a real-time record on this board.I would appreciate any feedback (Pro or Con) from interested parties.
As backround, here is the system (lets call it JAWS for Jack's Weighted Stochastics):
1. I use 5 stochastics of different lengths: 8.3, 21.5, 34.8, 55.13, 89.21

2. Each stochastic is compared to its moving average (2,4,6,8,10 days)

3.The "DIFF" is calculated by finding S-MA

4. A Momentum facor is incorporated to account for extreme
stochastic values.

5. Weights are applied to the 5 DIFFS to generate different strategies. For example:
7-3-0-0-0 would reflect a short term orientation
0-0-0-0-10 would reflect a long term strategy
2-2-2-2-2 would reflect a balanced approach

There are hundreds of possible strategies that can be designed by weighting the DIFFS in patterns to reflect your approach to the market.

Daily I will post the readings on the five DIFFS for the S&P 500 plus 8 stocks of various types. Also I will show the readings and signals for 3 possible strategies.

Remember:
a) This is work-in-progress, not a fully tested system
b) Many stategies can be created; which ones work best for you will depend on your trading style, stocks you follow, Market health. etc.
c) The results should not be used for real $ trading

If you wish to provide feedback you can E-mail me at landis1.ix.netcom.com or comment on this board.(Also I would be happy to send you a copy of my full presentation if you E-mail me your name and mailing address)

Thanks for your attention!
Jack Landis
