This article references happenings from the 1995 - 1997 era at pre -WCOM MCI. Seems worst case scenario is WCOM may be exposed as having made a bad judgment call as to how they handled some bad accounts a number of years ago. I would think a bad account is a bad account - and they did account for it - however they might have put some lipstick on it first. Whatever, as you say it's old news now. WCOM has dropped from a high of $60+ to now under $2. I think this old, well known, news is already more than priced in. Maybe time to stop obsessing with the rear view mirror and start focusing on the road ahead.
