two weeks to go until its first-ever worldwide community celebration
gets under way, eBay today announced new offerings and scheduling
updates for eBay Live. eBay Live takes place June 21-23 at the Anaheim
(Calif.) Convention Center. Portions of the event will be made
available for non-attendees via Web cast according to today's
announcement.

-- On Saturday, June 22 at 9:00 a.m., PST, keynoter Meg Whitman,
eBay President and CEO, will discuss how the user and seller
communities have shaped eBay's success. She will also outline
her vision for the future of The World's Online
Marketplace(TM).

-- On Sunday, June 23, at 9:00 a.m., a "power panel," consisting
of the most senior members of eBay's management team, will be
available to answer questions from the eBay community.

-- Journalist Adam Cohen, author of The Perfect Store: Inside
eBay (Little, Brown, June 2002), will conduct a book signing
on Saturday and Sunday from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

This is the first time eBay buyers, sellers and other enthusiasts
will join company executives and eBay service providers to explore all
things eBay and celebrate their shared passion. More than 3,000
participants have already registered for eBay Live.

The eBay Live agenda will have something for every level of eBay
user. Attendees will:

-- Get insights from managers of eBay categories and business
units

-- Talk to eBay experts including Jim Griffith, eBay ambassador,
Marsha Collier, author of eBay for Dummies, and many
experienced eBay customer support representatives

-- Hear from eBay service providers such as Andale, Auction
Watch, AuctionHelper, Auction Works, CAM Commerce Solutions,
Channel Advisor, Collectors Online, IPIX, FairMarket, Minds
Way, PayPal, Western Union Bid Pay, and Xula, Inc.

-- Attend eBay University classes on how to buy and sell like a
pro on eBay. Attendees can choose from courses ranging from
Beginning to Advanced.

-- Learn how to start a business on eBay

-- Interact with friends and fellow traders

-- Celebrate, socialize and participate in games and attend
performances by entertainers such as Super Diamond, the Neil
Diamond tribute band.

Users can register online at www.ebay.com/ebaylive to attend eBay
Live until 9:00 pm, Wednesday, June 19. They can also register on-site
at the Anaheim Convention Center beginning at noon on Friday, June 21.
