This lurking journalist has just recently visited the Merrimac Valley Hungarian Academy, and have the following observations:

The Class: A web-based learning environment.
Tuition: Free
Student age: various
Admission: A visit to Dr. Hed's modest abode

Faculty: Professor Zeev Hed, with able adjunct professors HAL, George Cole et al, and occassional uninvited appearance of self-claimed gurus.

Hours: most often 7am-11pm, except under extreme circumstance when Dr. Hed is preoccupied by French wine or conference calls.

Student progress: No a single one has so far graduated yet.
Most students have been studying Hungarian in sheer Max Pain.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner: Grilled, fried, steamed, mashed turnips, with a side of Chef Misheldo's fresh radish.

Heating: Provided by burning timber from lumberjack Softechie. With the current rate, Merrimac Valley will reach defrostation by year 2004. Dr. Hed has been trying to switch to ethanol as energy alternative. Or even superconductivity in the distant future.

Clubs: Students clubs are sponsored by Yahoo. The HAL club has been tempororily been inactive due to Prof Dudash's recent ominous disappearance.

Misc: One former postal employee Mad Johnson has a habit of throwing rocks into the classroom occasionally. Though the heavy rocks tend to fall on his feet most unfortunately.
