| This has some of the worst, most inert films I have ever seen on it: "The Milagro Beanfield War", "The Mission", "My Own Private Idaho", for starters---- but it also has some good films, that should not be thus politicized, for example, "The Last Emperor", which showed the necessity of change, but not specifically of the Communist take- over, and, indeed, is a savage indictment of the Cultural Revolution; "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington"m which is a story that all good Americans cheer-- Frank Capra was a Republican; and "Braveheart", which was a conservative favorite......... |
