This is indeed good news. A long time ago, when I was still in the brokerage business, I worked on a couple of Bob Buchan's early deals, the ones that began the adventure for him and Kinross. He is a very shrewd businessman with excellent connections and I believe that with some luck, Kinross will one day rival Barrick.
