Yes, the announcement by Ashcroft from Russia was a little Kafka-esque, but the Feds had thirty days to make up their minds to keep him or let him go. So today was 30 days from June 8-plus the weekend. Meanwhile, they had him for 30 days to,.. er, interview him.... and keep quiet the fact that they had him at all.
