If a parent or parents feel overwhelmed, and cannot provide the necessary moral training for their children, they should seek out help. That help can come from a number of places, but a great place is your local place of worship. Choose whatever religious organization that you are comfortable with, and join. Religious communities can be very supportive in times of family crisis. You may rediscover your moral compass.

Is this inconsistent with my previous statements? I think not, in that I have argued against (here is where our opinions may be diverging):

1) A merging of church and state.
2) A single religion (e.g. Christianity) as the solution.

Freedom and diversity of religion, and a secular government, is what makes Democracy strong, IMHO.
