Brace yourself...the following post is extremely politically incorrect.
All religions are not created equal. There is a reason Islam is the only major religion today where so many of its followers cheer and applaud the suicidal bombing of innocent women and children. In no other religion have the mainstream leaders accepted such grotesque acts as a part of their faith.
Would you feel as comfortable living in America if the population was 90% Islam, instead of 90% Christian?
There are many wonderful people who practice the faith of Islam. But I believe there is something profoundly wrong with a religion when so many of its leaders claim they are following the holy words and killing innocent women and children to promote it.
Perhaps the Muslim religion has not yet developed sufficiently enough, or perhaps the religion is simply wrong. I really don't know....
But what I do know is the Judeo-christian work ethic, family structure, belief in private property, adherence to principles, desire to be closer to God by understanding nature, and acceptance of every man as a brother, allows for the growth of a society in a peaceful democratic way.
Culture is shaped by religions values. America's Judeo-christian culture has been the foundation upon which we've been able to work together, eat together, build together, house together, and help one another together.
So, be careful how quickly you're willing to cast aside our judeo-christian values for a different religion, or no religion at all.
