Could you expand on the stock split comment or give a couple of examples??. Like for how long after the split?

I try to catch then on the way up, and sell the day after
they split(except Dell).After that I do not want to see that
sucker again for a month, in case it does still go up as it hurts too much.So my post-split knowlege is zilch.
My recent examples were BAC, NB, ITW,and BCOM.
BCOM is hurting me as it is up 40% since the recent split.

Now we have CPQ and Dell splits coming up, both with
great momentum and decisions to make.
