Anybody at Datek have any explanation for my order to buy 100 shares of GI at a limit of 17 today, placed at 15:49:35?

At 15:56, the bid is now 16 7/8, and I do not have an execution. The bid has flitted back and forth between 16 7/8 adn 17 several times since I placed my order.

Where is the supposed representation?

Update: it is now past the close, I did not get a fill, and the closing bid was 16 7/8, despite my open order to buy at 17.

This is going to require an even more contrived explanation than the last one. I'd love to hear it...
