Seems to be enough hindsight for us to look back and say Brinker's call in January of 2000 was excellent. His only mistake was hedging on it so much, but I suppose he just couldn't come out and say go all cash suddenly. He was a couple of months early, but that gave investors extra time to lighten up. His QQQ call may have worked but who could have ever guessed the type of election that call would be made into. Nas under 1500 today. Retest of October and then up, or many more months of pain. One can see how being a prognosticator in markets is like predicting the local weather with one's followers assets on the line.
