Thanks, Rangle. And John. equityanalyst is someone who I met through this thread, is someone with whom I now interact outside of this thread, and is someone who I respect on a number of levels. And, yes, he is an analyst.
As I hope most of those reading this thread understand,I don't hide behind the lack of details on my screen name. Some of us just have differing levels of a need for privacy. I appreciate those who are willing to judge my character fairly, as I believe I have made efforts to be balanced in presenting what I believe at any given time. I had posted long ago that if GM delayed its nationwide support of VA it would mean little to it, but would be devastating to GMGC. GMGC still has a long way to go to recover from putting so many eggs in one basket.
I am not happy with the state of affairs at GMGC. Despite distortions to the contrary, I have posted on RB that fact in the past month.
Disagreement need not be distasteful. I currently disagree with John M. regarding GMGC's fate. Though John and I have on other occasions disagreed, our interaction provides an example in that we have both been fair and I believe share a mutual respect for each other despite our differing opinions. I appreciate the dialogue, and know that John is a skilled market technician. There is nothing wrong with an honest differing view presented fairly.
It is unfortunate that some (one in particular) have developed a personal axe to grind not just with any poster who doesn't bow down to their sense of greatness, but also towards those at GMGC who have declined their advances or squashed their fantasy as to of what value (or lack thereof) they are in the overall scheme of things.
In the end, even the fanciest of titles and degrees behind one's name means little as to who one is as a person. How one conducts themselves, handles adversity, and tolerates differences determines the quality of one's character.
Take care, and thanks again for the kind words.
