So when you file your accusation and it turns out the presumptions you were basing your accusation on were false and directed at someone who did not meet your criteria, I would say that it was an allegation that was disproven.

I don't want to dwell on this particular example because my original premise has been modified by new information. But I'm intrigued by the above assertion. I must have missed something. Just how was the alleged allegation disproved? What presumptions were false and what criteria are you talking about?

As when you complained that things were being managed until the outside agitators showed up. Thus you are not only noting that some force caused a change in the outcome but you are complaining that it had an undesirable effect.
You chose the word "complained." That is your characterization based on your perspective. I would have said "observed" or "noted" instead. My questions still stands. Why would you interpret that as a complaint? Simply because triggered a "bad outcome?" (I do recognize the connotations of the words "gang" and "outside agitator.")

This is what I don't understand. I've spent decades in work environments where there are plenty of bad outcomes. People sit around and discuss them in a neutral way. Whoever ends up being instrumental in that bad outcome doesn't defend himself. He just learns, as do we all, and moves on. Surely others have been in work situations like that. It's standard business practice. And the way it's handled, to the best of my knowledge, is simply the way that adults handle group problem solving. So "duh" back atcha.
