I think you are being subliminally intelligent, here.

I was assigning the CI to your WWJD maxim. At first glance, it seems your response ignores that assignation.

But yet, it doesn't.

Anyway, the CI goes a little like this:

Say your best friend meets you on the street and asks you to hide him from the husband of the wife your best friend has been doinking, because the husband is going to kill him. You say sure, go hide in your garage.

The man comes to you and asks if you have seen your friend, and you say yes, he is in your garage, and the man kills your best friend.

The universal law you just willed is that it is more important never to lie than to keep your best friend from being killed.

I could never subscribe to a belief system that held that. And, that would be contrary to the Golden Rule, IMO.
