Stephen M. DeMoss: Well, if you shorted ABT and held, you've done okay. Question is, what to do now?

I sold all my shares as I said I would. I soon bought back a little near highs, just to see if the stock would keep on its raggedly climb up. It didn't.

I believe I will be a buyer of ABT tomorrow if I can get a little near today's close. Company has had a very good earnings record in all kinds of markets, and the stock's recovered from adversity at least a couple of times that I've seen.

I don't understand the quality control aspects which are so troublesome, costly, and apparently unsolvable. Surely eventually ABT must prevail. (Well, I hope.) The stock's at roughly 19x this year's revised (so far) expected earnings. That's a decent multiple based on ABT's past p/e and future expectations, imo.

(I welcome any other opinions on ABT.)
