Hi Lee,

Yes, the thread used to be very focused on its subject matter. Every time something happened in the currency markets or an event happened abroad - like the Asian crisis - I could come here to read opinions and links provided by others.

Now instead we have political axes being ground and names being called. There are about 500 other threads on SI devoted to political topics, so it isn't like this is the only forum to air one's complaints and attack all those who don't fall in line with your philosophy.

Maybe we could start an alternative thread that is moderated. Do you think that would fly?
