Good call. I agree that the numbers for demand in handsets was overdone, but admit to not seeing the revisions having as severe an effect as they have had. So the hedges were not quite sufficient. I think RFMD will come out of it with fewer competitors and a strong share of the market. The question is how much that market will now grow. I don't think anyone expected numbers akin to those of the late '90s. Wireless is in this sense a mature industry, but certainly not an obsolesced one.

Everything looks cheap now (historically; still some valuation issues out there as you and others have pointed out). EXPE still seems an exception, maybe COGN? Companies that can convince the Street they are growing earnings are still darlings afforded premium P/Es. Which ones priced for perfection are the most likely to be imperfect in your view?
