Greg, Thanks for the tip about the book. It does sound like a good read - I'll have to check it out. After today, I may have to agree with << in the end that he would have been better off not trading for short term and stuck to longer plays >>. I was in and out 6 times today for a total of +6 1/2 points. 6 trades x $12 commission = $72. Total gain = 6.458 points + alot of sweating and worrying Had I stayed long @ 136 1/4 and done nothing until closing @ 142 7/8 Total gain would have been 6.625 points HMMMMMMMM Less work, more gain You probably had a nice relaxing day watching your 1000 dollar bills getting printed up while you sat back and had one of those drinks with the little purple umbrellas in it. It does sound easier But I still had fun Larry
