Interesting article on Gilder in the latest issue of Wired. Interesting factoid: Anything that begins with the letter G that Gilder touched, has been a bust, from Globalstar to Global Crossing. Each of those companies, however, has left legacy infrastructure that is hugely valuable. Give me those satellites and those submarine cables, let me hold them for a decade, and I'll show you how fortunes are made.
