I wonder what Morgan is smoking? Several studies by the baby bells have pointed out that cell phones are used exclusively as cell phones. They are not portals to the internet, and interest in uses of cells phones for anything outside of making calls is just not there.

Not true outside the USA which has never had phones that do much of anything but voice. Short Message Service is very popular in Europe and games are big in Asia. My guess is GPS-capable phones could be big here. Reporting a 911 emergency? GPS will report your location automatically. Want to know where the cheapest gas is near to your location? Click and you'll know.

This summer you will begin to see phones that are more data capable as 3G phones are rolled out for Sprint and Verizon. Never say there is no use for data. IBM's Thomas Watson made that mistake once when he said there might be a market for only a few computers in the world.
