Why do they hate themselves? In his case, Religion. He converted to Islam. I'm surprised that he can be held as an enemy combatant His family already has a lawyer on this. The proposition is that he is a soldier for the Al Queda, and that they are at war/terrorist with us. What the heck makes a person an American anyway? Born here or Naturalized, of course. My Father came down from Canada smuggling in booze for Joe Kennedy when he was 16, and became a naturalized citizen in the '30s. Is that enough questions for you?
