I think the key to libertarians, is private property. The right to exclude or include anybody and everybody from private property.

And, in a conflict between two property owners unequal in terms of amount of property owned, who would you ultimately trust?

A two bit government official, who makes next to nothing, or a neutral arbitrater who's livelihood depends upon their reputation for fairness.

I prefer the later, and view government as necessary only as a means to provide stability long enough for this type of order to be developed, and the role of government will eventually cease altogether.
