DaiTn, Please re-read your response and then ask yourself where Americans came from...Who is an American. Answer: They came from all over the world. Your response reminds me why I think the French need to lighten up and not take themselves so seriously (self importantly). The French need to decide if they want to contribute to the world as it is or if they want to continue to debate how America just doesn't understand their culture. To be quite honest, in the grand scheme of human culture current day France and America are peers. The origins of human culture go back tens of thousands of years and the current day French probably have no more relationship to the original inhabitants to their region as the Americans do to theirs. Lighten up and get some perspective. Just a thought.
