Let's see, Jack Ruby had been in Texas for a while and had a business there, but as I recall he had previously been in New Orleans, right? And wasn't a native Texan. Nor was Oswald. The one highly suspicious Texan I've always wondered about was LBJ.

But if it wasn't LBJ sparkplugging this thing, then it was almost certainly a national plot and Texans were only incidentally involved.
