risky funds: absolutely. I haven't had fbiox for almost a year now but I consider it a "wildcatter" fund just like the others...the businesses are hit big or lose all and the returns for the correct bet (and these are gambling) are very good to incredible. FSAGX and FSESX will shine again before FBIOX because of the heavy cash burn rate of biotechs. A gold miner can just shutter his mine as many have and wait for the price of gold to rise to profitability.
