Rubenstein's bio -
Barry Rubenstein has been investing in technology companies since 1976. He co-founded Woodland (1976) and Seneca (1979), partnerships which invested over $50 million in small capitalization technology companies. Barry also co-founded and is a principal of Wheatley Partners.
Barry was a founder or founding consultant to several technology companies, including Applied Digital Data Systems, Inc. (1969), Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. (1980), Novell, Inc. (1983) and Cheyenne Software, Inc. (1983). From 1985 to 1987, he served as Chairman and CEO of Cheyenne Software, a public company and industry leader in providing back-up and archival solutions for networked computers. Barry currently or has previously served on the Boards of FalconStor Software, Picazo Communications, CosmoCom, FatWire, and Vuepoint. He holds a M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from New York University.
