Thomas, et.al.: I'm guessing that this new offering is reselling ILEC facilities through the same partner that is doing the residential neighborhood plan. Anybody have a different idea on what new customers they're going after here?

I suspect this is WCOM's "attack plan" across the continent, without regard for it being residential or business. Uhhhh....pricing plans and local footprint excluded of course (heh). I also suspect they can profit as long as their price "X" remains above their ILEC wholesale price "Y," which must really be aggravating the ILEC's (pssst...expect the ILEC's to continue to press congressional buttons in an attempt to rectify the situation).

Bottom line? I think, in light of all that's now known, WCOM's ~$1.60 price reflects a woefully oversold situation. Place your bets accordingly....

John~
