Apparently, this drifter was in hanging around another neighborhood about 30 minutes away from the Smart's. A neighbor called the police a few times but it seemed that whenever they came he was gone. So this neighbor took a picture of the car from his own home's vantage point...must have been a great camera because when he gave it to the police yesterday, they were able to identify the make/plate and window stickers.

If the drifter didn't have anything to hide in this abduction, it would seem that he would come forward and work a deal on the outstanding warrants. And, there's a 250k reward! He could go buy a house!
