If I have any claim that I was still negotiating, it is terminated by signing the contract. Actually, not completely true. It's amazing how many people sign contracts with blank spaces in them to be filled in later. In fact, they're still bargaining, and if the Court believes those blanks were not agreed on and are material to the contract, it may say there's no contract even if there was a written and signed document called a contract. People are sometimes amazingly stupid.
